Sunshine Kids Academy was founded in 1991 by Maria and Sofia Torres — a mother-daughter team who believed that every family in Los Angeles deserved access to safe, loving, round-the-clock childcare, regardless of their work schedule.
What started as a single classroom has grown into two full early education centers, serving hundreds of families across West Los Angeles. Our mission has never changed: provide quality childcare in a safe, clean, nurturing environment where children grow mentally, physically, and emotionally.
